Granville Island and Fuller’s doing an International Beer Exchange
Granville Island and Fuller’s, of London, England, will be exchanging beers for two weeks. Granville Island Brewing Taproom will feature Fuller’s London Pride, and a Fuller’s pub, The Iron Duke, will feature Granville Island’s Lions Winter Ale. To be honest I think Granville Island got the better end of the deal. After my almost 6 months in England and over a hundred beers labelled as a ‘bitter’ London Pride was my third favourite (Sharp’s Doombar was first, Adnam’s The Bitter was second). I just hope the London’s Pride is on cask.
London’s Pride will be available starting on Jan 25th and until Feb 5th. A formal event for the exchange will be on Jan 27th, from 6pm to 9pm at the taproom. If you aren’t able to make it to the tap during the event you can still buy London’s Pride in 4 packs, along with 3 other Fuller’s beers such as this years Vintage Ale, in most BCLs.
